Food Waste
We’re committed to minimizing food waste
at every stage of our operations and ensuring
that any unavoidable waste is put to its highest
beneficial use.
When food waste does occur, we prioritize
methods that deliver the most benefits for
the environment and society, such as diverting
produce scraps like potato, onion, and cabbage
peels to local dairy farms for animal feed or
donating packaged food to food bank partners.
By focusing on efficiency, resourcefulness, and
community collaboration, we’re reducing our
environmental footprint while upholding the
quality and freshness our customers expect.
