Enhancing Efficiency Through
Automation and Innovation
Across our manufacturing facilities, we continue
to invest in automation that strengthens product
quality, increases efficiency, and improves
workplace safety.
These technologies help us operate more sustainably by reducing waste, minimizing manual
handling, and supporting consistent, high-throughput production.
We have introduced several automation upgrades that replace manual processes.
Pick-and-place and case palletizers automate repetitive lifting and stacking tasks,
improving both efficiency and employee safety. Automated mixing lines eliminate the
need to manually load, push, or move heavy bins. Ingredients are now fed from a single
point, reducing physical strain and improving process consistency. Automated chip
and tortilla baggers replace hand-packing, increasing speed and ensuring uniform
packaging quality.
To further support food safety and waste reduction, all facilities use optical sorters
that detect and remove defects or foreign material. These systems remove only what
is necessary, rather than discarding entire ingredients, helping reduce food waste.
Additional safety systems, including conveyor-mounted cameras that automatically
stop the line when foreign material is detected, provide another layer of protection.
Together, these automation investments improve efficiency, enhance product
quality, strengthen safety standards, and reduce waste.
